Domestic Short Hair (short coat) Cat

Cady the Cat needs a home

Cady is a sweet, soft as a bunny little nugget. Meet Cady! This little punkin entered a high intake shelter and they knew something was wrong but couldn't put their finger on it. She spent time in a foster home while they tried figuring it out. After a while they contacted us and asked if we could intake her. We agreed.

After spending a couple days with us, we witnessed her having a very bad seizure. Checking back on the records from the high intake shelter, nothing was mentioned about seizures. Was something progressing? We began with our regular vet and ended up with specialist, a neurologist.

When Cady entered the high intake shelter, she had been injured and was covered in maggots (I know, its disgusting but its relative to her story). They were even around orifices of her body. We wondered if she maybe had some sort of invasion of them into her brain. We treated as if they had but seizures still continued. She was put on phenobarbital and has been on it since December 2015 and they have controlled them well. Are you special enough for a special girl. Cady, girl, born approx 2015
